The Magic of Process Art: Fostering Creativity in the Early Years
This workshop will empower educators to embrace the messy, experimental nature of process art and nurture children’s innate creativity. It encourages the celebration of children's creativity by offering opportunities for them to engage deeply with materials, take ownership of their creative process, and express their thoughts and feelings in meaningful ways—moving away from rigid product-based crafts and printed templates.
Whether you are looking to build on existing practices or explore new approaches, this workshop provides the tools, insights, and support needed to make process art an essential and joyful part of your early years or school-age care setting. This training aligns with Aistear (2024), supporting the agentic child and educator, fostering sustainability, inclusive environments, and embracing slow relational pedagogy
