Expert Support For Early Years

I'm an Early Years provider in a rural area in the Midlands for 36 years. I did my first FETAC L5 and L6 with Canavan Byrne. They encouraged me and gave me the confidence to continue with my education. I followed through with a First-Class degree and Masters from Galway National University in Early Years Education. Over the last 20+ years they have supported me to draw up quality Policy and Procedures for my preschool. Additionally, I went to CB for HR and legal advice. Recently I found myself in a very challenging and stressful situation. I needed support ASAP and I reached out They made contact straight away put me on the right track and continue to support. Coach Approach after school has been using Canvan and Byrne since its inception from Summer 2019. They helped me from the very beginning with our policies and procedures for registering with tusla as school age childcare service. We consulted with them for our care plan, for a child with care needs around toileting and the support. Angela remembered it 6 years on, amazing to remember that detail, shows how much they care. They have helped us develop our staff hand book and staff policies, a huge asset and support during Covid19 and redevelopment of policies for re opening in Sept 2020. We have had 2 mock Tusla inspections and 1 mock ncs inspection both have been invaluable. On hr advise, pobal, business and all related issues they are my number 1 go to they were so so helpful at all times. Their training is down to earth, frank and and honest. Our last training via South Dublin Childcare Committee in Nov 2025 we refreshed both our services in terms of doing best practice with visual schedules, staff rota sheets, our displays, medical information etc. Aimee, Orla, Angela, Lisa and Mary all involved in C & B have been brilliant at every turn.
