Course Content
Drawing on both her clinical expertise and personal experience, Dr. Malie will share practical tools and compassionate strategies to help you support your teen through exam stress. Malie will also introduce key techniques from the Exam Stress Management Course she created for the mental health charity A Lust for Life, aimed at helping young people manage pressure while prioritising their mental health.
Tutor
Dr. Malie Coyne is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, with extensive expertise in working clinically with children and families. Malie has an affinity for speaking publicly, disseminating evidence-based information in an easy-to-follow manner, to a variety of audiences. Prior to becoming a Clinical Psychologist, Malie used to work as Child Care Worker and Family Worker for various organizations and therefore understands the sector and the demands well.
In 2020, Malie released the best-selling book “Love in, Love out: A compassionate approach to parenting your anxious child” with Harper Collins Ireland, Over the past few years, Malie has also been working as Psychological Lead and Co-Author on the A Lust for Life Primary Schools Programme, which is reaching almost 50% of primary schools in Ireland.
