Tutor
Sarah O'Kennedy is a singer, vocal coach and music teacher for early childhood, primary, special needs and third level. She studied voice with Marie Walshe, Limerick School of Music, and in Leinster School of Music with Evelyn Dowling and obtained her performance diploma in singing with Trinity College London. She has performed, recorded and toured with Irish group Anúna for many years and sings regularly at corporate and other events around the country.
Sarah is a qualified Colourstrings early years music teacher and received first class honours in her Masters in Music Education from University of Limerick. She is currently in year one of a two year British Kodaly Academy qualification in primary school music teaching.
In 2014 Sarah founded Little Stars Music where she teaches group music classes weekly to 70+ children from 1-6 years of age, privately and in the community. She is in charge of the Creative Music Making module on the ECCE degree course in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick and at primary school level, teaches music to mainstream and special needs classes. Sarah is an experienced vocal coach for many years and teaches at her home and in Limerick School of Music.
