Introduction to The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation is a privacy and security law that came into effect in 2018. It outlines how you should collect, store and manage people’s personal data securely. In an early years setting, you collect data from various parties such as employees, suppliers and parents of children in your care. This course, which is especially developed for the childcare/early years sector,  explains how you should manage that data safely.

The course is ideal for new registered providers and for all staff working in management or on the ground in an early years setting.
