Tutor
Gema Dorta is our Early Years Specialist and HR Advisor, bringing over 7 years of experience in the Early Years sector and 3 years in Human Resources. Her career reflects a unique combination of expertise in education, leadership, compliance, and people management.
With a strong background in early years education, Gema has held positions as Early Years Room Leader, Supervisor, Deputy Manager, and General Manager, where she successfully led teams, oversaw regulatory compliance, and delivered high-quality childcare and afterschool services. She also coordinated LINC (Leadership for Inclusion) programmes, ensuring inclusive practice and supporting children with additional needs.
Gema holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education with a specialisation in foreign language teaching. She further advanced her expertise with a Level 7 Diploma in Human Resources and People Management, specialising in Employment Law. She is also an Associate Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development). In addition, she holds several professional qualifications, including Train the Trainer, Leadership for Inclusion (LINC), and certifications in Leadership & Management, GDPR, and Health & Safety.
In her current role, Gema supports early years services through compliance inspections, HR audits, policy development, training, and business sustainability projects. Her dual experience in HR and early years leadership allows her to bridge the gap between education and business management, helping organisations achieve both regulatory excellence and strong workforce engagement.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Gema brings a multicultural perspective and a passion for supporting Early Years and SAC service providers. She is committed to continuous professional development and takes pride in helping organisations create inclusive, compliant, and thriving early years environments.
