Child Safeguarding

This course explores a number of scenarios in child safeguarding in early years and school age care settings. The course defines and outlines features of abuse, explains types of abuse, outlines statutory obligations of services and explores the reporting process.
The content is presented in video format and text files to support various learning styles.
This e-learning course presents practical child safeguarding scenarios to complement TUSLA's course. By requirement, staff must be trained in child protection. To ensure compliance with that requirement, practitioners and managers must complete TUSLA's course. It is available here:
