AIM: Guide to Working Within the AIM Role
During this session, you’ll explore the AIM model, learn how to set goals within an inclusion plan, and design activities that cater to children’s interests, abilities, and developmental levels. You’ll also discover how to integrate Aistear and Síolta frameworks into your practice and reflect on your work to continuously enhance outcomes for the children you support.
Consultation with the children and parents is an essential starting point. Where relevant, goals set by a child’s therapist or outlined in the child’s Access and Inclusion Plan should be considered.
