Role of the Chairperson and Secretary
The final session of the Building Better Boards programme returns to the key roles of the
Chairperson and Secretary. This module will refer the four-type classification of Chair leadership, commonly displayed in Charity and Not-For-Profits Boards, as developed by the Course presenter. There will also be a discussion of the common areas that Chair, and Secretary will collaborate on during the Board Calendar and the joint/ individual Key Performance Indicators of the Chair and Secretary. There will be a reference to the Companies Act 2014, the Charities Act 2009 and the Early Years legislation and regulations.

He is a Chartered Accountant and has been a Board Member and Chairperson of Early Years Providers and other Community and Not-For-Profit organizations.
