Paediatric First Aid (Self-Paced)
Under the Childcare Act 1991 (Early Years Services Regulations) 2016, all childcare settings must have adequate numbers of First Aid Responders on duty at all times. The number will depend on the size and structure of the setting. This is not a First Aid Responder Course. This course is Paediatric First Aid and is aimed as a supplement FAR. It is important to know who your qualified First Aid Responders are as these will take the lead when a medical emergency arises. It is typical that a staff team will have the required First Aid Responders and others will be trained in Paediatric First Aid.

The certificate assessment contains 10 questions. You must answer all 10 questions correctly to obtain a certificate. You can repeat the assessment if required.
