Finance and Annual Reporting for Managers and Board Members
Finance and Reporting is one of the biggest changes required by the adoption of the Charities Governance Code. In addition, Pobal and Tusla now require higher standards and controls from the Manager and Board in this crucial area. At the heart of the issue, lies the relationship between the Manger. The Board, the Treasurer (or Finance Sub-Committee) and the external accountants and auditor. This key relationship will be reviewed and most frequent questions answered. A case study incorporating Early Years data and finance issues will be used. An excel template for managing and reporting finances will be provided as part of the course.
