Boards and Staff – Effective Teamwork, Boundaries and Managing of Workload
At its best, Board and Staff are performing their separate, yet equally important roles and collaborating effectively in shared tasks and responsibilities. However, frequently, the division of duties are misunderstood and underappreciated, leading to occasional distrust and the breakdown of optimal relations. This session uses the Governance Code as the foundation of best practice delegation of responsibilities to the Manager and effective Board oversight, problem-solving and decision-making. Outputs from the session includes terms of reference for key roles on the Band the Executive Team and working through a variety of typical challenging scenarios facing Early Year Providers. The session is open to both Managers and Board members.
