Examples of planning that include the voice of the child and involve families. Examples of learning stories that integrate the four themes of Aistear : Communication, Exploring and Thinking, Identity and Belonging and Well being.
Aistear in Action in Interactions
At the heart of all of our rich experiences in Early Learning and Care are interactions. This webinar will focus on enriching the Early Learning and Care experience for all. Gillian will share from her authentic experience in settings on what works best, on how nature and children can inspires us and provide us with moments of awe every day.

Gillian Powell is a part-time lecturer in Applied Professional Practice and Pedagogical Framing on a Bachelor in Applied Early Years Education course delivered in the Cork College of Commerce by the Dundalk Institute of Technology. She owned and managed The Haven Montessori School in Bandon for thirty-two years. This early years setting catered for over fifty children and the emphasis was on outdoor education. Outdoor education in three early years settings in Ireland was the focus of Gillian's research during the course of a Masters in Education in University College Cork.
