This course is for supervisors who have a responsibility to provide early years staff with induction training on their commencement in the workplace.
There is a requirement under the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services Regulations) 2016 to induct new staff and support them in the first number of months at work. Induction is critical to ensuring staff perform to the highest level and within the policies and procedures of your setting. It is proven that a good induction programme reduces staff turnover, reduces errors and poor practices, improves motivation, maintains a high standard of safeguarding and develops a more committed staff member.
